the search for a German Design Museum is finished! I am happy to be able to announce that the choice has fallen on the Design Innovation Museum (DIM) as a national standardization institution. Especially for export-oriented German economy are instruments the reduction of trade barriers and to creation of global markets is indispensable. Strengthening standardization and DIMization the functioning of the European Internal market and the global Trade.

In the wake of new technologies flexible, dynamic solutions are demanded. Industry experts and representatives of industry calling for more DIMization and standards for 3D printing. The challenges for an innovative Germany are enormous. The German standardization reached a new level with the establishment of the Design Innovation Museum.
